It is a very rainy and cold day. My third graders are watching a wonderful video called "The Orchestra." They are cracking up at the sound of the contra bassoon. With each new instrument they pretend to play along. This is the best part of my day. Growing up I never, never, wanted to be a teacher. I always thought it was a thankless job and that the kids (including myself at times) never respected the teachers the way that they should. It is still a thankless job with little respect, but I know now what made all my teachers do it. This is Jared playing the bassoon!
